With the content of the site ever expanding we'd like to keep navigating around it as simple as possible. We try to include everything that could possibly be regarded as fitting the definition of homo erotic art and let that not be influenced by our own preferrences or morals. Sadly some Americans feel they have a mission to let their normes and values be imprinted on the rest of us, although this museum really is not a porn site at all, it is considererd to be an adult website, and as any other similar site, that has access control gouverned by creditcardcompanies in place it has to adhere to their rules. In our case we cannot show any imagery that includes "bloodhed and gore". Weird thing is that Hollywood companies and Churches can show all of that in as much detail as they see fit to enhance dramatic effect or imprint fear for damnation if people do not abide by church dogma's .
Anyway, we cannot but abide by these rules, although they are very much conflicting with tolerance, freedom of expression and the law as it is upheld in the country we reside in. We feel the Dutch sentiments for tolerance and openness have much more moral value and will have more staying power then current US regulations, so we tried to bridge the gap and have put a separate website in place where we have all the content that is not allowed under US rules. These rules also stipulate that not a single link to this content is allowed on the website you are on now. The only way to find access is by making a request for its URL by e-mail. Of course we can only give out that URL and corresponding password to guys who are current masterclass members. If we did not,we would be infringing an even stronger US rtule, that we cannot allow minors to access. Masterclass members have through their creditcardpayment given an age verification. It is thus important that when you ask for the access to the restricted content you do so with the same name and e-mail adress as the one used to get your masterclass registration. If you are unable to do so, an alternative is to include your current user- and pass codes in the request. Mind you, the content on the separate site still adheres to ethical values and adheres to Dutch law; there is nothing there which is internationally considered illegal. There are no actual photographs or videocontent at all on that site, just artwork in the form of paintings, drawings or digitally redered graphics. | ||||||
